I am a highly qualified
Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist with extensive experience in
developmental trauma,
autism, and
early intervention. My clinical expertise includes supporting adoptive parents and toddlers in community settings, as well as working within
CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) in the NHS.
I completed a
doctoral clinical training in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy at the British Psychotherapy Foundation (BPF) in partnership with UCL and the Anna Freud Centre. Additionally, I am trained as a Clinical Psychologist in Brazil, bringing a unique, multicultural perspective to my practice.
My academic achievements include an
MSc in Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology from UCL and the Anna Freud Centre, as well as a
Post-Graduate Certificate in working with children, adolescents, and families from the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.
I have a profound interest in the
role of rhythm in child development and its intersection with
cultural and social structures. This inspired me to co-lead the "Without Borders" seminar series at the British Psychotherapy Foundation.
- Currently, I am completing a research doctorate at UCL, focusing on parent-infant psychotherapy and infant development.
